Solution:

Sterilization is a permanent method of birth control. This surgical method is advised to male or female who have completed their family and do not wish to bear any more children. Male sterilization is vasectomy in which a small part of the vas deferens is cut and ligated. Female sterilization is tubectomy in which a small part of the fallopian tube is cut and ligated. Since it does not affect gonads, it does not affect gametogenesis.
