NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2022

Solution:

In cannizaro reaction $C-C$ cannot be formed as here the compound (aldehyde) having no $\alpha -H-$ atom undergoes disproportion with a strong base to give an alcohol and an acid salt for eg.

While in all other reactions C-C bond formation occur.
