$CaO$ being a basic oxide does not react with $\text{NaOH}$ , however $SiO_{2}$ (acidic oxide), $BeO$ (amphoteric oxide) and $\text{B}_{\text{2}}\text{O}_{\text{3}}$ (acidic oxide) react with $NaOH$ .
