UP CPMTUP CPMT 2006

Solution:

Sex-linked disorder is any disease or abnormality that is determined by the sex hormones. Haemophilia is determined by a gene defect on an X chromosome, in which the blood fails to clot. The most common form, primarily affecting males, is caused by a mutation in a gene coding for a clotting protein (factor VIII) inherited as an X-linked recessive phenotype.
