Ethers are anhydride of alcohols, they may be obtained by elimination of a water molecule from two alcohol molecule .
In simple ether Rand $R'$ are same.
Example $CH_3OCH_3, C_2H_5 OC_2H_5$ ,etc.
While in mixed ether Rand $R'$ are different.
Example $CH_3OCiH_5, CH_3OC_6H_5$ , etc.
