Q. Which of the following hydrides has the lowest boiling point ?

Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure

Solution:

Sulfur is not much electronegative as oxygen so that hydrogen sulfide is not as polar as water. Because of this reason comparatively less intermolecular forces exist for $H_2S$ and the melting and boiling points are much lower than they are in water and other hydrides of 6th group elements.
