Perianth $6$, in two alternate whorls $(3 + 3)$. Androecium $6$, polyandrous, arranged in two whorls, antitepalous, often epitepalous. Gynoecium is tricarpellary, syncarpous, superior, ovary trilocular with axile placentation.
