Mathew Meselsen and Franklin Stahl $(1957)$ gave semi-conservative model for DNA replication. J. Cairns in $1963$ used the technique of autoradiography to show that DNA replication is semiconservative. Watson and Crick gave double helical structure of DNA. Taylor et.al., $(1957)$ demonstrated that DNA replication was semiconservative.
