Solution:

Sea anemones belong to phylum coelenterata. They are marine, polypoid (sessile and cylindrical) organisms. Body is attached by flat basal disc to substrate. Free end of body is flattened to form oral disc, bearing a central mouth and several hollow marginal tentacles. Gastrovascular cavity is divided into compartments by vertical septa (mesenteries).
