Solution:

Test tube baby programme involves: IVF-ET which means in fertilization occurs outside the female body (in-vitro )in the laboratory and the resultant embryo up to the 8-celled stage is transferred to the fallopian tube (ZIFT) or more than 8-celled stage is transferred to uterus (IUT) of the mother.
A functional ova/female gamete is collected and transfer to the fallopian tube of the mother for in-vivo fertilization followed by natural or artificial insemination.
