Q. Which of the following are less general in characters as compared to genus?

BHUBHU 2010

Solution:

A genus contains usually more than one species. Naturally, species is more specific (less general as compared to genus). A species is a particular kind of organisms or member of a population that possess similar anatomical characteristics and that interbreed freely in their natural settings. Members of different species cannot interbreed in general.
