AFMCAFMC 2000

Solution:

Colligative properties may be defined as the properties of dilute solutions of non volatile solute whose values depends upon the concentration of solute particles in the solution but not on the individuals identity of the solute. Various colligative properties are: relative lowering of vapour pressure, elevation in boiling point, depression of freezing point and osmotic pressure.
