Solution:

Haploid diploid sex determination process has one of the individual as haploid (male) and the other as diploid (female). Honey bees follow this pattern of sex determination. The males are haploid developed by process of parthenogenesis and produce gametes by process of mitosis. The females are diploid and the queen produces gametes by meiosis process.
