Growth hormone $(GH)$ is secreted from adenohypophysis of pituitary gland. It . stimulates cellular growth and proliferation, growth and repair of bones, muscles and connecting tissue. In the liver cells, it promotes glycogenesis deamination and gluconeogenesis.
