Q.
When the temperature of a body increases
Thermal Properties of Matter
Solution:
On heating, the surface area and volume usually increase. Since the mass of the body remain unchanged so the density decreases as a consequence. Again, with the increase of temperature the radius or length of a body increases which caused to increase the moment of inertia since moment of inertia is proportional to the square of radius.
