Q. When light is passed from one medium to another medium which one of the quantities remain unchanged?
AFMCAFMC 2003
Solution:
Light rays travel in straight line in a homogeneous medium. But whenever a light ray passes from one medium to another, it deviates from its original path. This process is known as refraction. In the process of refraction speed, wavelength and the intensity of light change while the frequency of light remains unchanged.
