Copper sulphate gives a reddish brown precipitate of $Cu _{2}\left[ Fe ( CN )_{6}\right]$, when treated with potassium ferrocyanide.

$2 CuSO _{4}+ K _{4} [ Fe ( CN )_{6}] \longrightarrow \underset{\text{reddish brown ppt.}}{Cu_2[Fe(CN)_6]} +2 K _{2} SO _{4}$
