CMC MedicalCMC Medical 2012
Solution:
When $ C{{O}_{2}} $ concentration in blood increases, breathing becomes faster and deeper. The effect of increased $ C{{O}_{2}} $ is to decrease the affinity of haemoglobin for $ {{O}_{2}} $ . Thus, due to Bohrs effect the $ C{{O}_{2}} $ released in respiring tissue accelerates the delivery of oxygen by faster and deeper breathing.
