Q. What will be the length of half wave dipole antenna at 150 MHz?

Communication Systems

Solution:

As we know the relation
$1=\frac{\lambda}{2}=\frac{1}{2}\left(\frac{ c }{ v }\right)$
$1=\frac{3 \times 10^{8}}{2 \times 150 \times 10^{6}}$
$=\frac{3 \times 10^{8}}{300 \times 10^{6}}$
$=\frac{3 \times 10^{8}}{3 \times 10^{8}}=1 m$
