Q. What should be the frequency of alternating $200 V$ supply so as to pass a maximum current of $0.9 A$ through an inductance of 1 henry?
Alternating Current
A
$40 Hz$
B
$50 Hz$
C
$60 Hz$
D
$70 Hz$
Solution:
As we know that
$X_{L}=\omega L=2 \pi V L=\frac{E_{0}}{I_{0}}$
$X_{L}=\frac{\sqrt{2} E_{m s}}{I_{0}}$
$=\frac{1.414 \times 200}{2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 1 \times 0.9}$
$v=50 Hz$
