NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2020

Solution:

A biodiversity hotspot is defined as a biogeographic region with a significant reservoir of biodiversity that is under threat from humans. Initially 25 hotspots were identified globally. But now the number has raised to 34, occupying less than 2% of earth's land area. These hotspots support around 60% of the World’s plants, birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibian species, with a high share of endemic species.
