Solution:

Primary amines (both aliphatic and aromatic) react with chloroform under basic condition to give isocyanide.
This reaction is called carbylamine reaction.
$\underset{1^{\circ}\text{amine}}{RNH_2} + CHCl_3 + 3KOH \to \underset{\text{alkyl isocyanide}}{RNC} + 3 KCl + 3H_2O$
