Solution:
$ \text{LiAl}{{\text{H}}_{\text{4}}} $ reduces only carbonyl group prior to double bond. Hence, crotonaldehyde give crotonyl alcohol on reduction. $ \text{C}{{\text{H}}_{3}}CH=CH.CHO\xrightarrow{\text{LiAl}{{\text{H}}_{\text{4}}}} $ $ C{{H}_{3}}CH=CH.C{{H}_{2}}OH $
