Solution:

One of the important hormones as growth regulator in plants is the gibberellins. It is a type of promotory hormones. One of the effects of this hormone is the increase in the axis of the stem. This property utilized by a horticulturist in inducing flowering by 'bolting'. In bolting, using the gibberellin hormone the flowering stem is developed by internode elongation before flowering.
