Solution:
Venation: It is defined as veins and veinlets are arranged in a distinct pattern in the lamina of the leaf is known as venation. There are two types of venation one is reticulate in which veinlets form a network for example dicot plants such as colocasia, alocasia, etc. but some monocots leaf such as in Dioscorea (YAMS) reticulate venation is seen, and another one is parallel venation mostly monocot plants possess this type of venation in which veins are parallel seen within lamina but in eryngium which is dicot leaf in which parallel venation is seen.
Arrangement of a new leaf in a leaf bud before its open or formation of young leaves overleaf bud is known as vernation which is seen in pine species.
