Q. What is not correct about mitosis?

NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2022

Solution:

Mitosis is an equational division in which one cell divides to form $2$ daughter cells having the same number of chromosomes. It is quantitatively and qualitatively equational division. In animal cells, the cleavage furrow extends centripetally and the microfilament ring is involved in this process. In plant cells, the cell plate grows centrifugally without involving microfilaments.
