Q. Vessels and fibres are found in :

J & K CETJ & K CET 2002

Solution:

The term vessel is applied to a system of cells where each cell is called vessel member. The walls of vessels are hard but not very thick. They contain bordered pits. The xylem fibres are sclerenchymatous and generally libriform. The vessels are found only in angiosperms and some gymnosperms (Gnetales).
