Verticillaster inflorescence is characteristic of family-Labiatae. The inflorescence consists of biparous cymes ending in uniparous scorpiod cymes on either side. The inflorescence in family Cucurbitaceae is usually cymose, solitary axillary, sometimes particle, more rarely racemose or sub-umbellate. Usually the inflorescence in Rubiaceae is of cymose type i.e., a dichasial or a panicled cyme. Sometimes the small flowered dichasia are aggregated into dense globose heads.
