Q. Vascular bundles in monocotyledons are considered closed because

Solution:

The vascular bundles containing cambium are said to be open but if no cambium develops, they are referred as closed.
Due to absence of cambium, the secondary growth is not found. In most monocotyledons, closed vascular bundles are found.
