The ratio of resistance of diode at $I_{D}=15 \,mA$ and $V_{D}=-10\, V$, is

Semiconductor Electronics: Materials Devices and Simple Circuits

Solution:

From the graph, at $I=20 \,mA$
$V=0.8\, V$
and $I=10\, mA , V=0.7\, V$
$r_{F B}=\frac{\Delta V}{\Delta I}=\frac{0.1 V }{10 mA }=10 \,\Omega$
Also, at $V=-10 \,V , I=-1 \mu A$
$r_{R B}=\frac{10 V }{1 \mu A }=1 \times 10^{7} \,\Omega$
$\therefore $ Ratio $=\frac{r_{F B}}{r_{R B}}=\frac{10}{10^{7}}=10^{-6}$
