Solution:

Distance of nth bright fringe from the centre,
$\quad\quad x_{n}=\frac{nD\lambda}{d}$
So,$\quad x_{3}=\frac{3\times2.5\times6000\times10^{-10}}{0.5\times10^{-3}}$
$\quad\quad\quad\quad=9\times10^{-3}\,m=9\,mm$
