Solution:

The angle between the rods will not make any difference.
$\therefore$ Net moment of inertia,
$I=I_{1}+I_{2}$
$=\frac{M l^{2}}{12}+\frac{M l^{2}}{12}=\frac{M l^{2}}{6}$
