Displacement from mean position
$=A-\left(\frac{2 - \sqrt{3}}{2}\right)A=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}A$ So phase of the particle which is going to
$\text{ wards }+x\text{ is }\phi_{1}=\frac{\pi }{3}$
$\text{ phase difference }=\frac{5 \pi }{3}-\frac{\pi }{3}$
$=\frac{4 \pi }{3}\text{ or }\left(2 \pi - \frac{4 \pi }{3}\right)$
$=\frac{4 \pi }{3}\text{ or }\frac{2 \pi }{3}$
