Solution:

$6g-T=6a...\left(1\right)$
$T=4a...\left(2\right)$
$\therefore 6g=\left(\right.6+4\left.\right)a$ or $a=\frac{6 g}{10}=\frac{6 \times 10}{10}=6ms^{- 2}$
