The acceleration of the system $a=\frac{\left(m_{2}-m_{1}\right)g}{m_{1}+m_{2}}$ where $m_{2}>\,m_{1}$
$a=\frac{(6-4)g}{6+4}$
$=\frac{2g}{10}$
$a=\frac{g}{5}$
