Solution:

In Montreal protocol (16th September, 1987) 27 industrialized countries agreed to limit production of chlorofluorocarbons. In June 1990, 93 nations amended this protocol and agreed to phase out CFCs and other ODSs by the end of 20th century. Till date 175 nations signed it.
