Q. To produce insulin via a non-human cell, which of the following would be required to be inserted in the vector's plasmid?

NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2022

Solution:

To induce human insulin production in a bacterial cell, the human insulin gene (DNA) must be ligated to the bacterial (example E. coli) plasmid successfully. On successful ligation, the plasmid will enable the expression of the insulin gene and produce human insulin without any demerits.
