$M.I. =2 \frac{m b^{2}}{3} \sin ^{2} 30^{\circ}+\frac{m b^{2}}{12}=\frac{m b^{2}}{6}+\frac{m b^{2}}{12}=\frac{m b^{2}}{4}$
