Q.
Three identical adiabatic containers $A, B$ and $C$ contain helium, neon and oxygen respectively at equal pressure. The gases are pushed to half their original volumes :
Thermodynamics
Solution:
According to the process equation for adiabatic process $P V=$ constant for helium and neon which are monoatomic gases ratio of specific heats is same so final pressure will be same but for oxygen which is diatomic $\gamma$ is different so its pressure will also be different.
