Q. There is a point charge $q$ located at the centre of a cube. What is the electric flux of this point charge, through a face of the cube?

J & K CETJ & K CET 2012Electric Charges and Fields

Solution:

If che is placed in the centre of cube, flux through surface of cube is $6 \phi$, where $\phi$ is flux through each face. by gauss's law,
$6 \phi=\frac{ q }{\epsilon_{0}} $
$\Rightarrow \phi=\frac{ q }{6 \in_{0}}$
Hence $,l$
