Permutations and Combinations

Solution:

$^{m}C_{2} \times2=^{m}C_{1} \cdot^{2}C_{1} \times2+84$
$m \left(m-1\right)=4m+84$
$m^{2}-5m-84=0$
$m^{2}-12m-7m-84=0$
$m(m-12)+7(m-12)=0$
$m=12, m=-7$
$\because m >\,0$
$\therefore m=12$
