$\int \frac{(x+1-1) e^{x}}{(1+x)^{2}} d x$
$=\int e^{x}\left(\frac{1}{1+x}-\frac{1}{(1+x)^{2}}\right) d x$
$=\frac{e^{x}}{1+x}+c$
