Solution:

$\underset{{y \rightarrow \infty}}{\lim} \left[y \sin \left(\frac{1}{y}\right)-\frac{1}{y}\right]$
$=\underset{{y \rightarrow \infty}}{\lim}\left[\frac{\sin \left(\frac{1}{y}\right)}{\frac{1}{y}}-\frac{1}{y}\right]$
$=1-0=1$
