Q. The thermostable enzyme, Taq polymerase used in PCR is obtained from

Solution:

Taq polymerase, generally used in PCR is isolated from thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus. This enzyme remains active at very high temperature and is not destroyed during high temperature in PCR.
