If the body of the animal can be divided into identical halves along many planes, i.e., multiple radii then the animal is called as radially symmetrical. Radial symmetry in animals, plants and other organisms is concerned to a complete or partial series of anatomical sections that repeat on multiple planes. By turning each section in 360°,it would near-exactly match the next section. Due to radial symmetry living and non-living forms can be equally divided into three or more sections, which are similar to each other. It is also called monoaxial heteropolar symmetry. Eg: Echinoderms.
