Q. The striated muscles are characterised that:
(1) they are multinucleate and syncytial
(2) sarcolemma is found over them

Solution:

Each striated muscle consists of numerous muscle fibres (= muscle cells).
Each muscle fibre is an elongated cell which is syncytial (multinucleate).
Its membrane is called sarcolemma.
Jaw muscles are striated, voluntary and strongest.
