Solution:

The sporozoans are parasitic protozoans which have an infectious spore-bearing stage in their life cycle. These organisms usually have alternate stages of asexual and sexual reproduction. During the infective stage, these parasites form cysts which divide and produce sporozoites that enter the host's cells and cause infection in them. An example of Sporozoa is the malarial parasite, Plasmodium which causes malaria.
