Solution:

The source of somatostatin is same that of vasopressin and oxytocin. Somatostatin is produced from hypothalamus (somatostatin neuron) and oxytocin and vasopressin are also produced in the nuclei of hypothalamus, though later they are stored and released from posterior pituitary.
