Solution:
Equivalent resistance for given circuit is given by, $R_{e q}=\left(\frac{6 \times 3}{6 + 3}\right)+2=2+2=4\,\Omega$
Current from Battery, $I=\frac{V}{R_{e q}}=\frac{10}{4}=2.5\,A$ , where $V\&R_{eq}$ represents voltage and equivalent resistance of the circuit.
$I_{1}=2.5\times \frac{3}{3 + 6}=\frac{5}{6} \, A$
