Solution:

$A \longrightarrow B$

$\because\,\,\,\,\,r=k[A]^{0}$

or $\,\,\,\,\,\,r=k$

This is a zero order reaction.

$\therefore \,\,\,\,\,t_{1 / 2}=\frac{a}{2 k}$
